PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at low cost a brushless electric motor controlling method that prevents a load to each element of a motor from being increased even if a supplied voltage is raised or reduced.

SOLUTION: This brushless electric motor controlling method controls a voltage that is applied to windings using pulse width modulation (PWM) control so as to operate a brushless electric motor within the range of a preset supply voltage area, and also controls a motor controlling device in such a way that motor revolutions reach a preset rated revolutions. The specification value of each component in the motor is set so as to reach the rated revolutions under a rated operating status when the ratio of pulse width modulation (PWM ratio) is maximum at a rated supply voltage.
