<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control method which maintains constant quality of printed character at the time of high-speed printing in a thermal printer used for an order entry system. <P>SOLUTION: A printing density control code is transmitted to an ordering controller 1 from a handy terminal 3, and setting of printing density is changed dynamically by including the control code in print data and quality of printed character is raised.
