<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system wherein impression of a seal to electronic documents conforms to the Electronic Signature Act similarly to the case with paper documents by attaching an electronic signature function to an electronic seal authentication system. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes: client computers to each of which a tablet is connected; an electronic seal authentication server; and a PKI authentication server, and the electronic seal authentication server includes: an electronic seal registration management section for registering seal stamp information of an electronic seal used on the tablet; a database section for managing information with respect to a user, information with respect to an electronic seal document, and information with respect to an admission flow; an electronic seal authentication section for discriminating the propriety of a seal impression event and accepting it when information of the seal impression event is transmitted to the electronic seal authentication server on the occurrence of the seal impression event; and a PKI collation section for making communication with the PKI authentication server, and when the seal impression event of an electronic seal is transmitted, a seal ID is encrypted by a private key, the encrypted seal ID with an electronic certificate attached thereto is transmitted, and the electronic seal authentication server acquires a public key from a PKI certificate agency, decrypts the encrypted ID and authenticates the ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
