<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a rare-earth bonded magnet with which a rare earth bonded magnet having high flexibility can be manufactured, without damaging the moldability, magnetic characteristics, mechanical strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance or the like, and to provide the rare earth bonded magnet which uses the same. <P>SOLUTION: The composition is composed of rare-earth magnet alloy powder (A), which includes at least one or more kinds of Sm-Fe-N system alloy powder, Nd-Fe-B system alloy powder, and Sm-Co system powder alloy powder; and a thermosetting resin binder (B). The composition for a rare-earth bonded magnet is composed of a thermosetting resin component (B-1), in which the thermosetting resin binder (B) of a radical polymerizable thermosetting resin, including a radical polymerization initiator includes at least one or more kinds of heat-resistant unsaturated polyester resin, heat-resistant vinyl ester resin, and heat-resistant partially esterified vinyl ester resin, and a flexible thermosetting resin component (B-2) which is a rubber-modified acrylate resin.
