<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head, in detail a golf club head with undercut. <P>SOLUTION: The club head 1 includes a body defining a striking face 11, a top line 12, a sole 13, a back 14, a heel 15, and a toe 16. The back 14 contains a cavity 21 that extends in a direction substantially perpendicular to the face 11. A recess extends away from the cavity 21 and toward the sole 13.
