PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VoIP communication apparatus capable of storing scope data of a number pattern from a call server in a storage section with a little storage capacity and easily determining appropriateness of a call number from a telephone device. SOLUTION: A VoIP communication apparatus comprises a reference data storing section 19 for storing symbol correspondence data formed by making different predetermined bit positions correspond to respective symbols used for expressing a telephone number; and a pattern correspondence storing section 18 for receiving a number pattern showing the range of the number based on the respective telephone numbers from the call server, receiving a dial number with the predetermined number of figures from the telephone device, and storing figure correspondence data as scope data by executing write processing for each figure on the basis of the received number pattern. In accordance with the symbols and corresponding figure orders of the dial number, symbol correspondence data stored in the reference data storing section are collated with figure correspondence data stored in the pattern correspondence storing section to determine appropriateness of the call number on the basis of the result of each collation processing.
