PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication-based portable voice mail dedicated terminal device utilizing the Internet capable of creating, transmitting, receiving, storing and reproducing voice mail. SOLUTION: The voice mail dedicated terminal device of the present invention creates voices inputted via a microphone as voice mail, and transmits the voice mail to a designated Internet mail address. When receiving the voice mail, the voice mail transmitted to the Internet address allocated to a dedicated terminal is received and stored in the terminal, and the stored voice mail can be reproduced via a speaker. This device is easy to carry, temporally flexible similar to electronic mail of characters and also capable of transmission all over the world by the Internet. In the destination of call termination, contents can be confirmed by reproducing the voice mail as needed, security is made higher than FAX or the like and voice mail can be simultaneously sent to a plurality of parties.
