PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a metal graphitic brush capable of suppressing jumping of the brush in a high-speed rotation, having high contact resistance, and capable of reducing wear of the brush and of extending its service life. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of a metal graphitic brush is characterized by mixing and molding a composition containing granulated graphite and metal powder and then heat treating it below 400°C. A substance containing graphite, a resin and a solid lubricant is preferably used as the granulated graphite out of the composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
