PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate editing a drawing displayed on a screen with respect to an editing device that edits a drawing displayed on a screen, an editing method, a program and a recording medium thereof. SOLUTION: The editing device comprises: an editing object display part that displays a drawing to be edited on a screen, including at least one linear drawing which is a line from a first end point to a second end point; an editing drawing display part 120 that displays an editing drawing for editing the linear drawing on a screen; an editing drawing moving part 125 that moves the editing drawing on a screen based on a user's operation; an editing object drawing dividing part 140 that responds to the contact of the moved editing drawing with the linear drawing, generates a new end point at the contact point, and divides the linear drawing by the newly generated end point; and an editing object drawing moving part 160 that, when the editing drawing is further moved in the direction of the linear drawing contacting the editing drawing, moves the end point contacting the editing drawing in the linear drawing along with the editing drawing.
