LINEAR GUIDE UNIT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide unit which can be manufactured easily at a low cost. SOLUTION: A guide rail (12) is formed from soft materials and a rail for movable rack (16) is formed from hard materials and the rail for movable rack (16) is combined with the guide rail(12) using pressing works. The guide rail (12) comprises a plurality of supporting ribs (12a1) each in the surface portion (12a) allocated to the travelling raceway track (16a) of the rail for movable rack (16) and the supporting rib (12a1) allocated to the same travelling track (16a) is substantially directed in parallel with a load transmitting direction of this travelling track (16a).
