PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installation workability by miniaturizing a valve rod operation end side in a valve element while performing stable sealing and abolishing a screw cap disturbing spanner work. SOLUTION: A valve rod 1 comprises a large-diameter screw section 12 at the side of a valve head 11, and a small-diameter shaft section 12 at the operation end side for fitting a seal ring 10. A valve element 2 comprises a base part 2A having a screw hole 22 screwed to the screw section 12, and a cylindrical section 2B having a reception hole 23 for receiving a shaft section 13 for bringing the seal ring 10 into contact. Pressure-contact sections 4, 5 that are pressure-contacted annularly each other at the opening operation position of the valve rod 1 are provided between a step section 24 of the screw hole 22 and the reception hole 23, and the valve rod 1 for sealing by metal touch at a position that is the prestage of sealing by the seal ring 10 and is closer to a passage 3 to be sealed.
