PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat protecting the lower limbs of a rear seat occupant against the occurrence of collision, steep deceleration, etc. SOLUTION: A front seat 10 is composed of a seat cushion 12, a seat back 14 coupled to the rear of the seat cushion 12, and a first buffer member 30 covering the lower angle part 12A at the tail of the seat cushion 12, where the first buffer member 30 protects the lower limbs L in the event of collision etc. by absorbing the shock applied to the lower limbs L of the rear seat occupant.
