PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for continuous casting with which the exchange of a copper plate can easily be performed without lowering the ductility and the electromagnetic stirring power. SOLUTION: In the mold for continuous casting, in which an electromagnetic stirring apparatus 8 is held in a cooling box 1 and a fixing plate 3 for copper plate and the copper plate 5 are fitted so as to be attachable/detachable to a front part plate 2 at molten steel A side of the cooling box 1 and an opening hole part 2a inserted through the front surface of a coil 8a for electromagnetic stirring apparatus 8 is arranged in the front part plate 2, a steel plate 10 is integrally fitted to the rear surface side of the cooling box 1 to shut off the rear surface side of the cooling box 1.
