PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise amusement in a pinball machine concerning the control of big prize winning ports in a special game. SOLUTION: A plurality of big prize winning ports are respectively arranged at the different positions of a game area. A special pattern lottery performing part 60 performs lottery by prescribed probability with the fall of a game ball into a start prize winning port as a timing. A display indicating part 74 varies and displays a pattern for a prescribed period, based on the result of the lottery, and then, stops and displays the pattern. When the result of the lottery is a big hit, a special game performing part 64 changes a game into the special game which is constituted of not less than one unit games after the pattern is stopped and displayed. An opening/closing pattern determining part 114 determines an opening/closing pattern at every unit game in the plurality of big prize winning ports, based on the state of the stopped and displayed pattern.
