PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint fitting which enables a butt end surface of a horizontal wood member to be safely, easily and temporarily joined to a side surface of the horizontal wood member on a construction site, and which enables the butt end surface of the horizontal wood member to be firmly joined so as not to come off upward, after temporary joining. SOLUTION: This joint fitting comprises: a joist bracket 4 which has first and second surface members 41 and 42 offset in a thickness direction, the first surface member 41 of which is fixed to a beam 8, and the second surface member 42 of which has a vertical slit part 421 engaged with a spline fitting 2; the spline fitting 2 which is formed as a rod shape, which has a pin hole 21 subject to the penetration of a connecting pin 3 inserted from the side surface of a joist 9, when getting into the side of the joist 9 in an engaged manner, and wherein an engaging groove 22 orthogonal to the pin hole 21 is formed in a position to face a peripheral surface on the side of the beam 8; and an ascent prevention pin 6.
