PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil column driving method capable of contemplating the reduction of industrial waste in the case a soil column is driven and the reduction of its processing cost and surely performing a boring in a predetermined depth precedent to driving of the soil column. SOLUTION: The boring 4 is made up to a depth 2 to which an inner hole water level spot 1 does not reach, excavated soil 5 is removed on the ground, a ground hardener 6 is supplied to harden the ground to make a boring 8 in a predetermined depth, its excavated soil 9 is removed on the ground in the inner hole water level spot 1, and thereafter, the soil column formation method drives a soil column 10 in a necessary depth from the boring 4 and the excavated soil 5, it is desirable that the ground hardener 6 comprises a material without generating any industrial waste.
