PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anionic electrodeposition coating material which is excellent in weatherability, coating stability and die mark screening. SOLUTION: The anionic electrodeposition coating material contains (A) a core/shell emulsion which is an emulsified polymer obtained by emulsion-polymerizing a polymerizable unsaturated monomer by a multi-step reaction in the presence of water and an emulsifier and contains 1-40 wt%, against the total monomer weight used in the multi-step reaction, an alkoxylsilyl group-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer as the polymerizable unsaturated monomer, (B) an alkyl resin and (C) a hardener.
