PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operation delay of a sprinkler by efficiently transmitting the fire heat to a fusible material of a heat sensor, and to make the structure of the sprinkler friendly to the environment. SOLUTION: The heat sensor 16 of the closed type sprinkler head has divided casings of a hollow cylinder with through-holes at both ends divided in such a way that parts of the outer surface are included in both casings, and is assembled with the fusible material 20 put between the divided casings in such a way that the periphery of the material is wrapped. The heat sensor 16 also has fan-shaped heat collecting fins 19a and 19b integrally formed at ends on the outer surface in the divided casings respectively. The fusible material 20 is made of a low-melting point alloy, inorganic composition or organic composition with the melting point from 50°C to 150°C and formed in the annular shape whose section is rectangular.
