PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating unit favorably heating a material to be heated while suppressing thermal deformation of a case by reaction heat and a heat conduction to the outside of the heating vessel. SOLUTION: This heating unit 1 is provided with the case 10 having an opening part 12, a moisture proof sheet 50 tightly closing the opening part 12, an absorbent sheet 20 provided along the inner face whole body of the case 10, a water bag 30 stored inside the absorbent sheet 20, exothermic agent 40 heating by hydration reaction, and a fracture string 70 fracturing the water bag 30 and the moisture proof sheet 50. One end of the fracture string 70 is fixed to the absorbent sheet 20 and the other end passes through a part where the water in the water bag is not sealed and pulled out to the outside of the case 10.
