METHOD FOR PRODUCING AMINO ACID DERIVATIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing anα-aminoadipic acid semialdehyde derivative from anα-amino protection form of lysine by using action of enzyme, and an enzymatic or microbial method for producing anα-aminoadipic acid derivative from lysine havingα-amino protected group or theα-aminoadipic acid semialdehyde derivative. SOLUTION: Theα-aminoadipic acid semialdehyde derivative is produced by using amine oxidase or an amine oxidase-producing microorganism to transform an aminomethyl group ofα-amino protected form of lysine to an aldehyde group. Theα-aminoadipic acid derivative is produced by preferably using aldehyde oxidase or an aldehyde oxidase-producing microorganism to transform an aldehyde group of theα-aminoadipic acid semialdehyde derivative to a carboxy group.
