PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for squeezing a citrus fruit, by which the citrus fruit is squeezed and separated into a jelly portion discharged together with a juice, a pure juice, and strained lees that can be used for other uses, respectively. SOLUTION: This method for squeezing the citrus fruit is characterized by separating the citrus fruit into the juice and the strained lees with a citrus fruit-squeezing mechanism and then separating a jelly portion discharged together with the juice from the pure juice by a filtration means. Thereby, the pure juice containing useful ingredients in pericarps can be produced, and the jelly portion containing the soft portions of the pericarps and the juice in a mixed state can be obtained.
