<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the emission efficiency of emitted light of an organic EL display device. <P>SOLUTION: This organic EL display device has organic functional layers 110 comprising at least luminous layers 110b in a plurality of predetermined regions (A) of a substrate 2, and performs display by emitting light L from the luminous layers 110b in a predetermined viewing direction.
