<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus capable of obtaining a required luminous quantity without the need for extending a light emission face and upsizing the apparatus even when a light source using a light emitting element is employed. <P>SOLUTION: A film scanner 10 includes the light source apparatus 12 for providing light to a film F. The light source apparatus 12 includes: a support member 20 of a hollow and nearly conically shaped form; a board 22 fitted to cover an inner side face of the support member 20, and a plurality of LED light sources arranged on a principal face of the board 22. The light source apparatus 12 is assembled by mounting a plurality of the LEDs 28 on the principal face of the board 22, forming a sealing member 30 to each LED 28, and thereafter fitting the board 22 to the inner side face of the support member 20 in a way of matching both the end faces of the board 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
