<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable properly executing working/editing a stereoscopic image thereafter even if the stereoscopic image is worked/edited by a device or software which does not correspond to 3D. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus has stereoscopic image data generating means 5, 10, 34 for generating stereoscopic image data based on a plurality of monocular images of the same object; an additional data generating means 50a for generating additional data concerning the stereoscopic image data; an additional data date/time information generating means 50c for generating information about the date/time when the additional data are generated or updated; and an image file generating means 50c, an image file generating means synthesizing the stereoscopic image data and the additional data to generate an image file, for further adding the information about the date/time when the additional data are generated or updated and the information, about the date/time when the image file is generated or updated to convert the image file into a predetermined file format to generate an image file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
