<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an electronic part such as an IC chip at a proper place more surely. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mounting machine has a reel 7 for winding a tape to which a plurality of the electronic parts are mounted, a mounting machine body 1 for mounting the electronic parts fed from the reel 7 on an electronic circuit board, and a tape feeder 5 for detachably fitting the reel 7 to the mounting machine body 1. In the surface mounting machine, the reel 7 has a reel-side IC tag 20 in which an information related to the electronic parts is stored, and the tape feeder 5 has a feeder-side antenna 21 receiving the information from the reel-side IC tag 20, and a feeder-side external communication I/F 22 transmitting the information received by the feeder-side antenna 21 to the mounting machine body 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
