PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm device whose structure is improved so that an ND filter and a lens shutter are driven independently.

SOLUTION: The diaphragm device includes at least one lens shutter for adjusting the size of an aperture on which light is made incident along a moving position, and at least one ND filter provided to move independently of the lens shutter and decreasing the qmount of the incident light by covering over the aperture changed by the lens shutter along the moving position.
