PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show superior anti-corrosion effect even when a fin and tube type heat exchanger is placed under high corrosive environment, in coating the fin and tube type heat exchanger used in a refrigerator and the like. SOLUTION: This fin and tube type heat exchanger comprises a number of fins 13 arranged in parallel with each other at specific intervals, U-shaped tubes 12 inserted into the fins 13 at a right angle to allow the fluid to flow inside, and return bends 14 connecting the U-shaped tubes 12. As the coating is performed on parts from which oxidized scale generated in welding the U-shaped tubes 12 and the return bends 14, is removed, the corrosion originated from oxidized scale is not advanced even when it is placed under high corrosive environment, thus superior corrosion-proof effect can be exercised and the operation can be continued for a long time as a freezing system.
