PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display wherein problems about a backlight cable are solved by shortening the backlight cable. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display has a liquid crystal module 7A in the inner part of which a fluorescent tube 6 as a backlight light source is incorporated. An inverter substrate 2 having a light source circuit for supplying electric power to the fluorescent tube 6 is provided.
