PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for visible light/infrared light photography where an adapter lens making the length of the optical path of subject light to an image forming position longer is arranged together with a color separation prism dividing the subject light passing through a photographic lens to the subject light in a visible light region and the subject light in an infrared light region, whereby the color separation prism or the like is arranged between the photographic lens and a camera without failure. SOLUTION: The invention is the adapter for visible light/infrared light photography by which photography by visible light and photography by infrared light are performed simultaneously by using the existent single photographic lens, a camera for visible light photography and a camera for infrared light photography and also which is attached between the photographic lens and the camera. The adapter for visible light/infrared light photography 18 equipped with the adapter lens AL and the color separation prism P is attached between the photographic lens 10 and the camera for visible light photography 14 and the camera for infrared light photography 16.
