PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for an internal combustion engine capale forming an atmospheric pressure sensor into complete water-proof/dust-proof structure. SOLUTION: This control unit is provided with a printed board 2 on which a component member for a control circuit to control at least one of an ignition device and a fuel injecting device for an internal combustion engine based on atmospheric pressure detected by the atmospheric pressure sensor 1 as one of control conditions is mounted with the atmospheric pressure sensor 1, a sensor case 4 fixed to the printed board 2 to contain the atmospheric pressure sensor 1, and an outer case 11 containing the printed board 2 with the sensor case 4. Insulation resin is injected into the outer case 11 to form a molded part 12. The sensor case 4 has a sealed space 18 closed inside.
