PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the coating film adhesiveness of a coating material top-coated on the surface of a cured product and further the water-resistant adhesiveness of a topcoating film without relating to the curing period of a curing composition containing an isocyanate group-containing urethane prepolymer, and to obtain a urethane-based sealant composition suitable for topcoating specifications having improved topcoating adhesiveness. SOLUTION: The method for improving the adhesiveness of the topcoating material comprises adding an oxygen-curable unsaturated compound, such as a compound having an oxygen-curable unsaturated group and a polar group in the molecule, and further one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of drying oils and their modified products, to the isocyanate group-containing urethane prepolymer.
