PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device having good light emission characteristics, crystal driving durability and preservation stability. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent device has at least one layer of organic layers including light-emitting layers between a pair of electrodes and contains at least one species of compounds expressed by general formula (1) in the organic layer. In the formula, R<SP>11</SP>and R<SP>12</SP>independently expresses each an aryl or a heteroaryl, when R<SP>11</SP>and R<SP>12</SP>are a phenyl, R<SP>11</SP>and R<SP>12</SP>do not have an N-containing heterocyclic group as a substituent on them; Ar<SP>11</SP>and Ar<SP>12</SP>independently express each a group expressed by general formula (2).
