PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeling-type-cap correcting/opening apparatus capable of surely peeling and opening a peeling-type cap for a test tube and enhancing the speed of cap correcting/opening movement. SOLUTION: The peeling-type-cap correcting/opening apparatus is equipped with a means for holding the test tube 1, a transfer path 5 for the test tube, a rotating/driving means for the test tube, a correcting means 20 for correcting a posture of a cap tab part 2a, and a cap-opening means 30 for peeling the peeling-type-cap 2 from the test tube 1 for opening. The apparatus is provided with a movable body 40 which moves back and forth in parallel with the path 5 between a path side position of a cap correcting position and a path side position of a cap-opening position along the path side of the path 5. The movable body is provided with a clamping means 45 for clamping the test tube 1 after the tab part is corrected and moving it to the cap-opening position with the holding means by the forward movement of the movable body 40 while the clamped condition is kept. The clamping means keeps the test tube 1 clamped until the peeling operation of the peeling-type-cap 2 by the cap-opening means 30 is completed, and at the time when the cap peeling operation is finished, the clamping is unclamped to restore the cap correcting position.
