PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve comfortability by reducing a projection quantity of a central part of an instrument panel, by reducing a dimension in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle in a vehicular air conditioner. SOLUTION: This vehicular air conditioner is composed of a temperature adjusting unit 1 having a cooling heat exchanger 6 and a heating heat exchanger 7, and an air distributing unit 2 for distributing air-conditioning air from the temperature adjusting unit 1 to a blowout port of respective parts in a car. The air conditioner is formed into a structure for arranging the heating heat exchanger 7 above the cooling heat exchanger 6, and arranging the air distributing unit 2 on the vehicle rear side more than the temperature adjusting unit 1.
