PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical cartridge which can be thinned, can be kept in a prescribed shape, does not attach the chemical to a hand, when held with the hand, and does not waste the chemical. SOLUTION: This chemical cartridge is characterized by comprising a sheet-like chemical-impregnated member 20 having air permeability and liquid absorbency, and containing a chemical, and a holding container 21 comprising a container body 30 and a lid 40 and nipping and holding the upper and lower sides of the chemical-impregnated member 20, forming dent portions 35, 36 and 37 in the central holding portion 31, outer peripheral holding portion 32 and intermediate holding portion 33 of the container body 30 to form a space 21c between the container body 30 and the lower side of the chemical-impregnated member 20, and forming air-ventilating holes 45, 46 and 47 in the central pressing portion 41, outer peripheral pressing portion 42 and intermediate pressing portion 43 of the lid 40 to flow air in the space 21c. Thereby, the chemical impregnated in the holding portion held with the holding portions and the pressing portions in the chemical-impregnated member 20 can be diffused with air flowing in the space 21c in the atmosphere, and the chemical in the holding portion is not wasted.
