<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a computer terminal to recognize, in case a change in combination of IP address and physical address of a network printer, this change at suitable timing and request printing to the network printer. <P>SOLUTION: When a change in network address such as IP address or installation of a network card occurs on the network printer 301 side, the network printer 301 reports the network address or physical address through a network 300.
