<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for a vehicle capable of performing the plurality of operations of the vehicle by one portable equipment without performing an operation for the vehicle contradicting to the intention of a user. <P>SOLUTION: This remote controller for the vehicle comprises the portable equipment 20 transmitting a specified ID code, an ID collating means which, based on specified registration data, determines whether an ID code received from the portable equipment is correct or not, and an on-vehicle device operating means performing the specified operation of the on-vehicle equipment when the ID code is determined to be correct by the ID collating means and a specified user operation is detected.
