<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an URL information providing system to customers by providing URL to the purchasers of merchandise, and for limiting persons who are able to receive a customer's service to the purchasers of merchandise. <P>SOLUTION: This URL information providing system is provided with merchandise with a non-contact type IC tag in which a merchandise code is stored attached thereto, an IC tag reader, an IC card reader/writer, register terminal equipment connected to the IC tag reader and the IC card reader/writer, and equipped with a means for transmitting the merchandise code read by the IC tag writer to a server and a means for making the IC card reader/writer write URL received from the server in the IC card and a server communicatively connected through a network to the register terminal equipment, and equipped with a database in which the merchandise code is associated with the URL and a means for transmitting the URL registered so as to be associated in the database corresponding to the merchandise code received from the register terminal equipment to the register terminal equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
