<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail which can be easily mounted by virtue of a simple structure, and which prevents numbness etc. when a walker walks while using the handrail as a support or walks in the state of leaning against the handrail. <P>SOLUTION: This handrail comprises: (a) a handrail body 1 which is composed of a handrail base part 7 arranged along a wall surface 3a, a grip part 8 for supporting the walker by having a top surface protruded from the base part 7 to the walker's side throughout the length of the base part 7 in such a manner as to be flush with the base part 7, and upper/lower fixing parts 11 and 12 protrusively provided at the wall-side end of the upper/lower surfaces of the base part 7, so as to fix the base part 7 to the wall surface 3a; and (b) covering covers 2 and 2 which are arranged from the wall-side ends of the upper/lower surfaces of the base part 7 to the wall surface 3a and which cover the fixing parts 11 and 12 from the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
