<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle ride type vehicle sensing certainly the motion of a coupling rod by the input part of a brake switch and establishing a fine appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The saddle ride type vehicle is equipped with: a foot rest 31 installed ahead of a crank case 16; a brake pedal 33 having a rotational center 35 in the neighborhood of the foot rest 31; a master cylinder 39 capable of driving a brake 27 by pressurizing a pressurization part 41; the coupling rod 37 to couple the rotational actuation part 33b of the brake pedal 33 with the master cylinder 39 and pressurizing the pressurization part 41 by turning the brake pedal 33; and the brake switch 45 light up a brake lamp 30 by sensing the movement of the rod 37 by the input part 45a, wherein the installing structure around the brake switch of the vehicle is characterized in that the master cylinder 39 is secured to the rear of the crank case 16 and the input part 45a of the brake switch 45 is arranged in the neighborhood of the master cylinder 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
