PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for correcting travel historical data, which properly correct the travel past historical data. SOLUTION: When a first link La is not connected with a second link Lb on map data, wherein both the links are not in the adjacent relationship, and when the first link La is connected with a third link Lc, wherein both the links are in the adjacent relationship, the link number of the travel historical data having the second link number Nb is replaced with the first link number Na and the third link number Nb.
