PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program information display apparatus and a program information display method for displaying program information in a way of improving the convenience for a user. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a program information storage unit 3702 storing a plurality of items of different program information relating to one program content, a display information quantity accepting unit 3710 for accepting the information quantity to be displayed one time on a display device for displaying the program information, a program information selecting unit 3706 for selecting any one corresponding to the accepted information quantity from the plurality of items of program information, and a program information display unit 3707 for outputting the selected program information.
