PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of avoiding a size of demodulation processing section, a manufacturing cost, and power consumption thereof from being increased even when the one and same receiver carries out demodulation processing of an audio signal of an AM radio program, demodulation processing of an audio signal of an FM radio program, and demodulation processing of a video signal of an analog TV broadcast. SOLUTION: The demodulation processing section 100 commonalized through the use of the software wireless technologies comprises only: a mode processing section 5 for carrying out processing for including a broadcast mode B and an audio mode V to an IF signal selected on the basis of instruction information R including the broadcast mode B and the audio mode V; an AM detection section 6; an FM detection section 20; a switching section 30; a low pass filter 40; and an audio output control section 50. A computer of the receiver executes a computer program of the demodulation processing section disclosed herein to allow the one and same receiver to carry out the demodulation processing of the audio signal of the AM radio program, the demodulation processing of the audio signal of the FM radio program, and the demodulation processing of the video signal of the analog TV broadcast.
