PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the selection of the recorded broadcast contents. SOLUTION: A broadcast carrier wave is received by an antenna 11. Video voice and EPG data are separated. The video voice after separation is stored in a recording device 14 as video recording data 141 of digital data. The EPG data after separation are stored in the recording device 14 as ECG data 142. Programming information (EPG) from the Internet 22 is obtained from an EPG providing web server 23 and stored in the recording device 14 as the ECG data 142. Metadata of programs provided by a broadcasting station are similarly obtained via the Internet 22 and stored in the recording device 14. Only the program coinciding with the recorded program is displayed as ECG in the form of a broadcast program guide.
