PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of adjusting biorhythm with light of a display device and to make a viewed image more natural. SOLUTION: A video signal for display on a display part 104 is sent from an antenna line to a video signal output part 102 and the video signal is outputted to a video signal conversion part 103. At this time, time information is sent from a time output part 105 to a pattern storage part 106. In the pattern storage part 106, several patterns are previously set. The pattern storage part 106 outputs a signal indicating how the video signal is converted to the video signal conversion part 103 to adjust suppression of melatonin by referring a pattern currently selected based upon time information and controlling the tone of blue. The video signal conversion part 103 converts the video signal in accordance with the output from the pattern storage part 106 and sends the signal after the conversion to the display part 104, which displays a picture.
