PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical thermometer which avoids an uncomfortable feeling during measurement of temperature and gives comfort to a patient. SOLUTION: The armpit clinical thermometer for measuring the temperature of a patient includes a circumferential edge, an upper part and a lower part, and a first disk shape member arranged to combine with an angle, with a second disk shape member having a top side and a bottom side by combining with a combining member. The top of the second disk shape member includes an activation switch and a display close to the upper part of the first disk shape member so that the confirmation of the indication of temperature and the temperature measurement process are simultaneously done. The first disk shape member also has at least one temperature sensor along the periphery of the upper part.
