PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device capable of improving the water supplying accuracy with an inexpensive constitution, with respect to the water supply device for supplying water in a water supply container to an ice making machine mounted at a lower part by free dropping. SOLUTION: This water supply device comprises the water supply container 100, a discharge port 111 formed at a lower part of the water supply container 100 and communicates with the external of the water supply container 100, an opening and closing valve 150 mounted on the discharge port 111, a discharge passage 130 opened to the water supply container 100 at its one end and communicates with the discharge port 111 at the other end, and a flow rate adjusting part 140 formed in the discharge passage 130. The flow rate adjusting part 140 is composed of a float 141, a holding part 142 for preventing the float 141 from flowing out from the flow rate adjusting part 140, and a restriction part 143 having an inner diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the discharge passage 130.
