GARBAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a conventional garbage treatment apparatus sometimes fails to enter into an ordinary treatment state because it performs drying for a predetermined time after additional garbage is cast thereinto during drying garbage for a specified time. SOLUTION: This garbage treatment apparatus is provided with a control unit 20 that controls the apparatus to perform an operation for drying garbage in a treatment tank 1 for a predetermined time by driving a drying fan motor (blowing means) 12 when garbage is cast into the treatment tank 1 and its cover 2 is shut and controls the remaining operation time according to the elapsed operation time of the predrying when additional garbage is cast into the apparatus during the predrying operation. Thus, the garbage treatment apparatus is allowed to enter into an ordinary treatment state by shortening the remaining drying time even when additional garbage is cast thereinto.
