SOCKET FOR SINGLE-ENDED BASE LAMP AND LUMINAIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for a single-ended base lamp capable of improving safety and reliability of lamp attachment; and to provide a luminaire.

SOLUTION: This socket uses a bayonet connection method for attaching single-ended base lamps 4 having connecting lamp holding parts 2 and rotating positioning parts 3 by fitting them to each other and by rotating them in one direction. The socket has holding part reception parts 16 for locking the lamp holding parts 2 to prevent their coming off in a direction opposite to the fitting direction when the single-ended base lamps 4 are fitted to each other and rotated in one direction. The socket has positioning reception parts 17 each used for releasably positioning and locking the rotation position positioning part 3 in a direction opposite to the rotation direction when the single-ended base lamps 4 are fitted to each other and rotated in one direction. In addition, the socket has a lamp support spring 31 for applying, to the single-ended base lamp 4, force interrupting the rotation in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the single-ended base lamp 4.
