PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf board attaching device with a simple structure permitting easily changing a shelf board. SOLUTION: The shelf board attaching device comprises a shelf board holder 11 and a shelf board member. The shelf board holder 11 is attached to a wall surface 1a to be extended in the horizontal direction, and has an opening 17 formed in the longitudinal direction on the front face and a storage part 18 inside the opening 17 communicating with the opening 17 to be extended upward from the upper end of the opening 17. The shelf board member has an upper part support body connected to the proximal end of a shelf board 22 to be detachably inserted into the storage part 18 via the opening 17.
